About the Bears

About the Bears:
The Brandon Bears Youth Football and Cheerleading League, Inc. is a Florida non-profit corporation, registered with the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c3) non-profit organization. The Brandon Bears sponsor youth cheerleading and full contact football teams for children ages 5-15. We are a member of the Florida Youth Football & Cheerleading Association (FYFCA). All coaches, assistant coaches, team moms/dads and board members are non-paid volunteers.

Mission Statement:
The Brandon Bears Youth Football and Cheerleading is committed to providing a safe and positive environment for our children to learn teamwork and participate in sports.

Goals:

Our goal is to develop and promote the idea of responsibility, hard work, discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork. The individual growth of our community’s children is enhanced through the spirit of competition and fair play. These goals will be accomplished by providing a structured program designed to educate both children and families in all aspects of the sports of football and cheerleading.
